Lake Mburo Tour – 3day

Lake Mburo home of the Eland, Zebras and elusive African Finfoot.

Lake Mburo National Park covers an expanse of 260 sq Kilometers covered by thick acacia savanna, woodland and grasslands. In Lake Mburo Park, you will be able to catch sight of the big eland antelope, impals, zebras, topi and acacia related birds.

Day 1: Lake Mburo National Park

After an early breakfast, you begin your journey to Lake Mburo National Park. You will stop over en route to see traditional drum makers at Mpambire. Another stopover will be at the Equator where you will take some photos, and later continue to Lake Mburo Park. Overnight at Eagles Nest bordering the park. You will enjoy the best views of the park. The bathrooms are eco-friendly.

Day 2 – Nature walk and game Drive

Go for a nature walk with an experienced ranger. He will explain the animal footprints and droppings. It is the one of the parks that provides this experience .It is such an exhilarating experience seeing the wildlife at close range.

Stay at Eagles Nest  BLD

In the afternoon you go for a boat cruise in search for the hippos and birds or go for another game drive in a different part of the park.

Day 3: Return to Kampala

After breakfast you head back to Kampala. If you wish, you can have another game-drive in the park. Travel time: 4 hours
