Chimpanzee in Kibale Forest

On this Chimpanzees and Waterfalls Safari trip, you will be able to do chimpanzee tracking at the Kibale National Park, as well as witness the majesty of the Murchison Falls waterfalls – a truely unique experience.

Day 1: Meet and greet our guide

Today, arrive at Entebbe International Airport. Welcome to the Pearl of Africa. Our guide will pick you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the afternoon. Queen Elizabeth National Park a biosphere park with 600 amazing birds. Game drives and boat rides on Kazinga channel will reward you with both spectacular views of aquatic wildlife and birds.

Later on, visit Kikorongo women group which weaves baskets and mats for a living. Your visit supports the communities sustain themselves.

Later on, transfer to your lodge. Stay at Engazi Lodge.

Day 3: Game drive & Boat Ride

Early morning game drive with packed breakfast in the Park in search for the retiring predators. This park is home to 600 amazing bird species including the Black Chested Eagle, Black Bee-Eater, Bustards. After lunch, go for an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga channel to view the Hippos, crocodiles and Buffalos.
Stay at Engazi Lodge.

Day 4: Chimpanzees tracking

On this day travel to Kyambura gorge to track chimpanzees in the Kibale National Park. Kibale Forest National Park the chimpanzee primate capital is home to 13 species of primates: the endangered Uganda mangebay, Red colubus Monkey, L’hoest monkey, Black and white colubus monkey.

Later, go for a visit to the blue lake and the local communities. Later, travel to Fort Portal, the Toro Kingdom capital.

Day 5: Fortportal – Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, home to a variety of wildlife. Everything from elephants, hippos, Nile crocodiles and rare shoe bill is showcased in this park.. Go for a walk to the top of the Falls. It is a breathtaking point where the waters of the mighty Nile squeeze through a narrow gorge to an awesome 45m plunge producing a thunderous roar and at times forming a rainbow. Have lunch and then go for afternoon game drive. Stay at Pakuba Lodge.

Day 6: Boat ride

Enjoy a 3 hour boat excursion today to the foot of Murchison Falls. Hippos and crocodiles are abundant, and you will see elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks and birds like; Herons, Cormorants, Ducks, Bee-eaters and Fish Eagles and later on a boat trip to the Delta where the Victoria Nile meets Lake Albert takes about four to five hours. Day 7: End of Safari

Your Chimpanzees and Waterfalls Safari has come an end. Return to Entebbe International Airport.
