Day 1: Arrival in Uganda – Entebbe

Arrive in Uganda, where our guide will warmly welcome you at Entebbe. Your journey begins as you travel to Kampala. Rest and rejuvenate at Hotel Africana or its equivalent.

Days 2-4: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls

Kick-start your adventure by visiting the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a haven for Uganda’s reintroduced rhinos. Witness these magnificent creatures up close through rhino trekking and bird watching. Continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, where the Nile dramatically thunders through a narrow gorge. Enjoy a game drive to observe antelopes, Rothschild giraffes, lions, elephants, and more. Take a relaxing Nile cruise to the base of the falls and marvel at the abundant wildlife. Rest at Fort Murchison or a similar lodge.

Day 5: Journey to Fort Portal

Embark on a scenic Western Uganda Circuit journey to Fort Portal, the cultural heart of the Toro Kingdom. Enjoy the verdant landscapes, tea plantations, and mountain vistas en route to Kibale River Camp.

Day 6: Kibale National Park

Chimpanzee Tracking Explore the lush Kibale National Park as you track the lively chimpanzees. In the afternoon, connect with the local community, immersing yourself in their ways of life. Return to Kibale River Camp for a comfortable night’s rest.

Day 7: Crater Lake Tour and Bigodi Community

Visit Delve into the wonder of Crater Lake on a guided tour, savoring the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. In the afternoon, experience the vibrant community of Bigodi, known for its conservation efforts and enriching projects. Once again, retire to Kibale River Camp.

Days 8-9: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today continue your Western Uganda journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Embark on an early morning game drive to witness the diverse wildlife and embark on an unforgettable boat cruise along the river, surrounded by hippos and stunning scenery. Rest at Engazi Game Lodge or a similar lodge.

Day 10: Kasoga Community and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Engage with the Kasoga Community Experience, gaining insight into their lives and contributing to their sustainable economy. Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you’ll stay at Engazi Game Lodge or its equivalent.

Day 11: Gorilla Expedition in Bwindi

The day arrives for your incredible gorilla tracking experience in the lush Bwindi forest. Encounter these gentle giants up close and create lasting memories.

Day 12: Travel to Ankole Region

Set out for the Ankole region, renowned for its distinctive long-horned cattle. Visit the Eclipse Monument and settle in at Igongo Cultural Centre Hotel.

Day 13: Rwenjeru Community Centre and Igongo Cultural Centre Museum

Immerse yourself in the Rwenjeru Community Centre’s cattle-keeping lifestyle. Participate in cow milking and learn about local traditions. Visit the Igongo Cultural Centre Museum and enjoy a hearty lunch.

Day 14: Journey Back via the Equator – Kampala

As your adventure winds down, make your way back to Kampala, capturing memories at the equator. Shop for souvenirs and relax at Hotel Africana Kampala.

Day 15: Jinja – The Source of the Nile Venture

Visit the East Africa’s adventure hub, and the source of the Nile. Discover the town’s charm and return to Kampala for a relaxing evening.

Day 16: Farewell to a Memorable Western Uganda Circuit Adventure.

Your final day is a time of leisure and relaxation. Optionally, explore more of Kampala or visit Entebbe before bidding adieu to Uganda, taking cherished memories and the spirit of adventure with you.
