Queen Elizabeth National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park is a popular destination for tourists. It is named after the Queen Elizabeth II to commemorate her visit. It is a Biosphere reserve with diverse ecosystems, which include sprawling savanna, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands, make it the ideal habitat for classic big game, 13 primate species including chimpanzees, Climbing Lions in Ishasha and over 600 species of birds and its co-existence with the neighbouring communities.

The Ishasha sector in the South of Queen Elizabeth National park, is favourable for an afternoon game drive in search of the tree climbing lions. In Ishasha there pride of lions climb the trees daily. Unique in the world! The other attraction of Ishasha is the Topis, not found anywhere else in Uganda.

Community visits can be blended to your memorable trip that includes visits to Katwe salt lake to observe the traditional salt mining. In addition, Kasoga tourism Centre has a number of activities like canoeing, bush camping, participate in fishing basket and local crafts making.
This Medley of Wonders has Kazinga channel a natural channel between Lake George and Edward. It is home to the largest population of hippopotamus in Africa.
You will enjoy the hippo yawning scenes as you take a boat ride along the channel. Other animals that may be seen in the park include the elephants, Lions, buffaloes and crocodiles.
Historical site visit
Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru is a popular historical site about 10 km from Fort Portal City. A legendary tale has kept it lively till today. Waterfalls and Caves welcome you. The picturesque crater lakes nearby are breathtaking. This tourist site is in Kabarole district.
It is preserved by the Rubombora family. They have preserved it for the future generations. The guides at the site are quite knowledgeable about the historical and scientific formation of the breast like formations on the rocks.
